Some coffees are traded.
Ours is committed.
A single farm on the slopes of Volcán Barú.
Its entire first-grade harvest, reserved without compromise.
The origin
The Santos Cruz family has farmed the slopes of Volcán Barú since the 1950s.
Cristina and her brother Carlos — the fourth generation — are the people behind this coffee. Carlos manages the farm. Cristina, together with a few others, built the brand around it.
High-altitude slopes of Volcán Barú, up to 1,800 meters.
Volcanic soil, natural shade, slow maturation.
A limited yield. First-grade selection only.

The decision
The quality was always there.
What was missing was structure.
For years, the coffee was sold unroasted and locally.
Its character diluted, its origin unnamed.
We chose a different path.
The entire first-grade harvest is reserved.
No intermediaries. No alternatives.
A single origin carried with responsibility.

The farm today
Today, the farm is managed with long-term focus and clear responsibility.
Quality determines pace, not volume.
Regular presence during the harvest ensures precision at every stage.
The absence of sales pressure allows careful selection and fair conditions.
The work follows the rhythm of the land —deliberate, restrained, uncompromised.
Exclusivity by design
The volume is defined by the land, not by demand.
Every harvest is finite.
Every lot is reserved.
There is no excess, no replacement, no expansion without consequence.
This coffee is not scaled.
It is allocated.
This is not coffee for everyone.
And that is exactly the point.
